Bob: Yes, I did indeed.

Jeannie: They are beautiful. I would like to paint pictures like these.

Bob: I can teach you. I’m an art teacher. I run a studio.

Jeannie: Can you teach any kind of student?

Bob: Any kind of student? What do you mean?

Jeannie: Well, I am an android. I don’t like that word, though.

Bob: Sure, it doesn’t matter. My name’s Bob.

Jeannie: I am Jeannie.

Bob: Nice to meet you, Jeannie.

Caspar: Alexis, are you busy right now?

Alexis: No, it’s OK. I just finished editing today’s video. What’s up?

Caspar: Our cat Umi is talking to me again.

Alexis: Really?

Caspar: Yes, she said “Ohayo” when I said “Good morning” to her.

Alexis: She speaks Japanese?

Caspar: I guess she knows some phrases. Where is Umi now?

Alexis: She’s behind the sofa.

Caspar: OK, say “Good morning” to her.

Alexis: Umi, good morning!

Umi: Ohayo!

Caspar: See?!

Alexis: Caspar, get the video camera behind my desk!

Kelly: I’d like to welcome to the show astronaut Anton Kerr. Anton, welcome.

Anton: Thank you for having me, Kelly.

Kelly: Anton, you have joined the crew of the latest Mars spaceship. What is the ship called?

Anton: Omega 3.

Kelly: Omega 3. So, this is the third mission to Mars, right?

Anton: That’s correct.

Kelly: What are your goals for this mission?

Anton: My main goal is to survive on Mars for two years.

Kelly: That’s a long time.

Anton: Yes, it will be a challenge.

Anton: How are you feeling, Commander?

Megan: I’m having a good time, Anton. I was a little space sick, but I’m fine now. How about you, Anton?

Anton: I feel excited. After all, I’m in a rocket ship on my way to Mars.

Megan: Yes, the Omega 3 is the fastest spaceship ever built.

Anton: Um, Commander, why are you putting on makeup?

Megan: We’re having a TV interview later. We have to look good for the camera, you know. Do you want to use some?
